Sometimes, I'll unlock the car and when I open the door the radio is making a loud clacking sound. I figure it must be the CD player. It only happens every so often for around 5 seconds and occurs with or without a CD left in the player.

Any ideas?

 

this happened to me as well and it was because i had left the cd in the player. once i removed the cd it did not happen again..try disconnecting the radio by removing it from the dash and re-connect.

 

Check you amp connections as well. Mine did this forever until I finally found the source. The connectors were lose.

 

Mine is doing it also. Will double check the connections. Thanks for the advice.
