Since you are close to Houston, my advice is to get that thing out of town, head west, and get in some bonding time with the new steed.

Great choice on a car. It looks beautiful. Have fun and wipe that silly grin off your face.

Drive it every day... these cars don't like to sit idle. My mechanic says the cars with the big problems are genrally NOT daily drivers.

And maintain it well. I bought an 02 that had all the factory service done yet it had a transmission problem that was solved with a simple trans. oil change. Factory says 15K mi. between oil changes... Ibet there isn't anyone on this thread that waits that long. There's a guy "T2" that has 177K mi. on his... I'd ask him about maintainance.

Congrats on your new car!!!

I agree wholeheartedly with jbossolo. Most especially if this is your first sports car. Get the DE behind you as soon as you can so that you can both enjoy the car more and avoid going into a ditch. That's one poweful honey you have and you don't want it getting away from you.
Enjoy!

I believe this to be true as well, although I have no proof other than 30,000 trouble free miles in 30 months.....
