Wheel offset
Hi,
I know the bolt pattern is 5x130
But what is the correct wheel offset for front and back ?
I am looking at a set of BBS LM -- They have 56mm offset for both the front and the back
And should I go with the stock 18" size or can I upgrade to 19" without sacrificing ride comfort and handling ?

Stock offset is 50mm front and 45mm rear. My 9ff's run 18X9 (1 inch wider) fronts with a 36mm offset and 18X11 rears with a 30!! offset. Very nice. :-) With the 56 offsets, you might want to run some spacers. BBS LM's are awesome!! I don't know about 19's, I'm sure someone else will chime in. Jag Siva has 19" Champions on his.

'Search' for many, many threads on both offset and 18-19 discussion.
Many of us have both but think I can say 18s are more 'drivable'.....and given proper offset and ride-height they can look very good.
As Superfly points out.....wheel width is important (both for tire fitment and it's affect on offset). OEs are 8J and 11J.....and for every inch increase in wheel width, you need to add 12.7 mm to your offset (assuming you are still trying to be at the same point relative to your fender line).
Personally I'd say those rears with 56mm (on 11Js?) are a poor choice.......some would say they need 25mm spacers to look good (the people who put 14mm on 45mm OE hollows ;-).
Some also say.......one of the great things about a custom wheel is.....you can get the 'right' offset & can set aside your spacers. To each his own.
