For no apparant reason, I'm getting a "system error no cd changer" message on my Nav screen. The CD changer has power. Anyone know how to reset an 03 fatory Bose system to get the head unit to recognize the CD changer?

It has power, but the issue is with the MOST POF connection.
The simplest way to 'reset' the system is to remove B+ for a minimum of 2 minutes. Of course, if you disconnect the vehicle battery, everything in the car gets reset (which can sometimes be a PITA), so it would be easier to just pull the fuse and/or unplug power for the CDC, pull the fuse and/or unplug power for the amplifier and, IF AND ONLY IF you have the codes for the PCM and/or NAV, pull that fuse as well.
No guarantee this will fix it, as there are other reasons this can occur.

Thanks ITC. Disconnected the changer....no luck. Looked at the fuse block and the usual translated from german make it clear as mud which fuse is which. There are two that contain radio in the description and 1 that says sound system. As I don't know my radio codes atm, I loath to pull the wrong fuse.
