Hi all,
I have my TT for more than 2 months now and I can remember that boost is 0.5 and overboost 0.7
today (even the weather was special made for turbo engines i.e close to 0 Celcius ) I reallised that :
overboost was 0.6 only once the car did 0.7...
can anyone say why?
car has 50.000 klms...
can anyone recall when should I read 0.7 and for how long?

I get maximum boost readings in 3rd gear WOT. I can also get maximum boost in 2nd WOT, but I just don't like to be looking down at the guage while under full tilt.
I typically get 0.8 - 0.9 with sometimes 1.0 BAR which seems to be on cold days (California cold.. 40F).
I have an x50 so the numbers are higher.

996TT's that are running properly do not have the "overboost" feature like the new 997TTs. There can be variances up or down with climate and fuel but a stock non X50 should be .6-.7 and an X50 .8-.9.....
