Best track tires....
Tried doing a search but didn't find exactly what I was hoping to. I just purchased a set of OEM turbo twists to use as track wheels. Now need to purchase some decent tires. I take the car for DE's about 5-6 times/year (hoping to do more), don't need the stickiest or most expensive tire, hoping to get some longevity out of them and I have to drive about 50 miles roundtrip on the freeway to the track.
Considering Sumitomo HTR Z 3, Kumho's, etc. See a lot of people that like the Toyo but don't find that in the correct size rear (supposed to be 30 series, I think).
Anybody care to recommend something?
Thanks!

I love Toyo RA-1's but they don't make them in our size... they do make the 888's in our size. I've contacted Toyo about making the RA-1 and the new R1R in Porsche turbo sizes. They are designed to be run with at least -2 degrees of camber, which most P cars are doing stock, hence why they wear out the insides of normal tires so fast. So Ra-1 and R1R's should wear better due to them needing at least -2 deg. camber.
