When I set out to lower my car and improve the handling, Rennsport Systems suggested a combination of H&R springs and Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks. This combination works well on the 993 and 996. However, at the time, Bilstein did not offer a HD shock for the 996TT. And no, I do not know if they offer them today. The choices came down to:

1. PSS9 adjustable (Height and dampening rate) coilovers
2. H&R adjustable (Height and dampening rate) coilovers
3. JRC, JRZ or whatever they call them adjustable (Height and dampening rate) coilovers
4. Moton ajustable (height and dampening) coilovers
5. Porsche X73 NON-ADJUSTABLE coilovers (a plug and play substitute for stock parts.

I tried the X73 and found it to be too stiff for my liking or my roads. I then switched to PSS9 and have been a happy camper. I run just 2-3 DE's per year.
