I never knew you had Polar, I love Polar.
I had Polar on my 993TT.
Polar has blue in it, Arctic has brown/tan in it.
Arctic Silver is VERY common on 996TT, Polar is rare.

The front hood looks like some different color, and from the windshield back it looks like Polar. Just goes to show how much difference the surrounding light makes.
Do you have a side or front view of your car in the sunlight?
In the sunlight it tends bring on a ‘bright’ silver look. Almost ‘white silver’.

Is there an Artic Silver and an Artic Silver Metallic?
Or are they both the same? Asking because I saw 2 turbos for sale online - one listed as AS and the other as AS metallic and am trying to figure out if they are indeed the same colour or if there is a hue of difference. Thanks!
