Where's the best deal for 996TT rotors these days? How much?
I need to replace the front rotors and am looking for the approximate cost. I was quoted ~$200/rotor by a local shop, but I've learned to be skeptical of shop quotes so I wanted to verify here before going forward. Regardless, I'd prefer to source my own parts on this. Thank you.

Check your local dealer, and if you are a PCA member see how much discount you get (anywhere from 10-20% depending on your relationship with the parts dept...)... then call Sunset Imports... factory parts... Trying to remember the cost when I called... something along US$160.00-180.00... can't remember...
The killer is the shipping... when I asked it was around 70.00 just for shipping. Each rotor is like 20lbs... That is why I suggest checking locally first and compare with the total cost of the order (part cost + shipping)

The weight difference is substantial. However, the COST to replace the PCCBs is NUTS. Retail is about $5500 per ROTOR. Don't know what the "deal" price is... My next move will be to the 6 puck caliper and PF CupCar style rotors.
Thinking seriously about that upgrade!
