Default Pics of x73 set up

For those considering lowering, here's my ride height with the x73. I've had this set up for 12k mi; Car rides great, not too stiff IMHO.

X73 package lowered my 996TT 5mm (F&R) from the RoW spec. Ride is excellent.

Your wheels look so great on the car. Can't wait to get my own X73 setup.

Cheers!

Default OEM 18" rims with Winter tires

I've now got 19s on my car, so would like to sell my stock '04 18" rims with Pirelli Snowsports sitting in my garage. See pics of my car with the 18s in the first post of this thread. The rims are near perfect and the tires have under 1000 miles on them (used only one season).

If you're interested in the rims plus Pirellis (tires already on rims, so selling them together), come pick them up in NY (my zip is 10514). $1500.

Technos plus tires with less than 1000 miles...that is a great deal! I don't get much snow in VA but if I did, I would be all over that deal.

that is the perfect stance for street daily driving. the ride, however, might be a bit harsh. i had the x74 set-up on my previous c4s and the ride quality was to harsh for street driving. the handling, however, was a great improvement over stock.

Trust me, not too low!!! The roads suck where I am and I still never bottom out and love the improved handling and more aggressive stance. With my new 19s the car really looks nasty.

As far as the increased harshness of ride, do I feel bumps more than I did with stock? Yes, but it doesn't bother me one bit. I mean when you get into your turbo do you want to "feel" the road or feel like you're on your living room coach? I've had it for 15k miles and think the x73 is a great set up.

P.S. rims/tires still available for local pick up. $1500 firm (it's a great deal, I'm not looking for money, just looking to get them out of my garage and hook up a fellow local enthusiast...).
