Default Wheel refinishing success story (w/pics)

I bought a set of used HREs (thanks, Dave!) that were in decent shape, but not close enough to new, so I had them refinished. Wheel Techniques in San Jose recoated the centers, and Fine Metal Finishes in Hayward shined up the lips. I am VERY happy with the results:

Now I just need to clean the tires

Champion wheels are very nice. They are extremely light and strong. The only downside is the price point. I think you will be happy with them. A 19x10 inch wheel I was able to lift with my arm straight. Did not bend the elbow and just held it directly in front of me. Just an idea of how light it is.

Nice looking wheels.

You will love the Champions, they are very strong good looking and light. I heard a number of stories where people have run off the track and caused no damage what so ever. Good luck!

Stunning wheels... but then I would say that, I have a similar set of HREs in 18s.... lovely reconditioning though!
