Default PPI in Orange County

Does anyone have any recommendations for a shop to do a PPI in Orange County?

GMG Racing, 3210 S Shannon St Costa Mesa, CA 714-432-1582. Ask for Fabryce and tell him Robert from the Turbo Registry sent you. He will take good care of you.

We are down in South County (Lake Forest) and have lots of experience with ppi's. We would be happy to help you out.

Hergesheimer is also a highly respected PCA shop.

Yep Hergesheimer is good and I also recently met Dwain at Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills. Either would do you right.

Thanks for the quick responses. I have been browsing here for a while, what a wealth of information, I hope to be a contributing member eventually.. This will be my first pre-purchase inspection and hopefully my first Porsche, (996 turbo).

Any advice? I am assuming the car needs to be taken to the shop in order to have it inspected? Are dealers usually willing to do this? Thanks for any and all help.

Brad, just 4 weeks ago I purchased my 04tt. I'm in Orange County and if I found a local car was going to have Hergesheimer do the PPI, they were recommended by two PCA members I also went to their shop twice and had lengthly discussions with Mark.
As it turned out I found my car on cars.com being sold by a private party in Walnut Creek. Had the PPI completed by the Porsche dealer in Walnut Creek. The PPI cost me $300 and they also did the smog paid for by the seller.

Good Luck
