Cost for major service?

I've just booked in the car for a first major service (2003 TT TIP) just wandering if there is nothing majorly wrong how much am I expected to fork out for the service (72000 km)?

..did mine(40K) last week in Aus. and it cost me $15000 or $1200 US
(and another $1500 for front brakes, SRF and front spoiler).

what were u quoted?
