Default Heavy Clutch Pedal

So, gradually over the last two weeks I've noticed the clutch pedal get heavier. Last night it was pretty clear to me that it's pretty much completely un-boosted now. I've done enough research to discern that it's probably the accumulator. The problem is, however, I kind of like the un-boosted pedal feel.
If I don't have a leak, is there anything wrong with not replacing the accumulator?

I am having the same exact problem. The clutch is very stiff when I first depress it to start the engine, then as the engine warms up it gets softer.
I took a long trip yesterday and this morning my left hip joint hurts...
Will take the car in tomorrow to check the accumulator.
