My car is due for a visit to the dealership on Monday, but I may as well ask to satisfy my curiosity - these symptoms still, I think, don't match up entirely with mine (see 6so thread I linked for more info). Is this really what I have? Mine starts as soon as I put the car in motion, no warm-up period needed. Doesn't happen at idle or in reverse..

Oh well. I figure I'm out $900 now... be nice if I wasn't, though!

FYI, turned out to be some sort of belt rubbing inside... $560 P&L. Guess I got lucky!*

* - I can't believe I'm saying that as a guy paying $560 for a piece of plastic.
