Default Birmingham, Michigan shop recommendations

I'm looking at purchasing a '99 C4 that's in Birmingham, MI, and was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good independent shop to do a PPI. The car is currently maintained by Auto Europe, and while they have a good reputation, I think it will be worth my while to have a shop that isn’t affiliated with the seller look it over.

Looking at the Southeast Michigan PCA webpage, here are a few shops: http://www.sempca.org/waterford/tech_insp.html -- does anyone know if any of these specialize in 996s?

Thanks for your help!

Oops, I meant to put this in the regular 996 forum... I'll post it again there.

Van, Fred Lavery Porsche is very close to AE. Munk's Motors in Waterford, MI is one of the DE tech shops for SEMPCA. I have used AE and have nothing but good things to say about them. Good luck with the new purchase.....

Van,
You may want to try Fred Levary. Ask to speak with Bryan and have Kern perform the PPI. Actually, I know the car. I have seen it at waterford several times. The car appears to be in great shape. From what I remember, it seems like the owner was selling it at a great price. Had a GT3 on the way. Hope this helps. AL Z
