Has anyone tried the front license plate tow hook mount by moweraxle? On the site it says Porsche 911 Carrera,Cayman & Boxster. It has a pic of the 997 turbo but Id like to see if anyone on the 996 turbo RJ has used it and your thoughts? Looks great for a road trip.

 

Front license plate mount? Sounds interesting.

I've only seen the rear bumper mount ball hitch used for towing tire trailers.

I've seen it on a 996 where a guy had bought it because of being stopped in San francisco. He had it stored in his trunk rather than on the car..and it is very professionally done....has a very clean and surgical presentation. If I had to buy one, I'd seriously consider this...a bit pricey, but so is a ticket.

 

I bought one. Machined very nicely. Easy to install. Delivered promptly. Very satisfied. Need to find a frame to go around the plate to prevent sharp edge from catching the car cover.

 

Just installed it on my new 911 S. looks very clean.One ticket is enough
