Default Is silver with beige interior odd?

I found a nice 2003 sliver 996TT for sale in the color I want (silver) but with the Savannah Beige leather interior. Is this one of those odd color combos that will kill me at resale time in a couple of years? I know the answer is "if you like it go for it," but what I want to know if you (the informed 996TT crowd) would consider that color combo odd?

i personally like the combo-there is a new 997tt with a similar color combo sitting on a dealer's show room floor in nj that i think looks great.

Pictures? On asking three friends....silver cars get grey or black, or blue. But not brown. Just a unanimous group of car nuts. Not scientific at all.

If you like that is all that matters. Any car....is not an investment (exceptions do exist....).

Agree with Jcb...otherwise there's more chance of some $ hurt when you come to sell it.

I think it is a great color combination... very classic look. Go for it! Reminds me of the old Porsche with that color combo... another classic one was silver with red...

I really do not like the grey interior of the Porsche 996 cars... they do not seem to age well... and yes, my car's interior is grey, not by choice...

My only concern would be resale. I ran into the same problem two cars ago because I ordered a custom color. Everybody wanted black, silver, or red. I had one helluva time selling it even though it was absolutely perfect inside and out.

A little, but each to his own.
