What's the big deal with replacing crush washers?
Did an oil change over the weekend and my Porsche dealer didn't have the crush washers for the engine block or the turbos. Everywhere I read it says don't forget to change the crush washers. What's the big deal with using the old ones again as long as I don't have any leaks?

Only two and if you're not leaking you don't have one of the two possible problems.
The other is that to keep them from leaking you've got to run the plug down that little bit tigher and if the guy on the end of the wrench is a..................well let's say it; gorilla you can damage threads potentially on the cast bits which leads to a whole different world of pain.
