It’s taken me 19 years to post to the OPs question, but F it 🙃

New guys perspective - so take that for the 3 cents (inflation) it’s worth:

I’m new to both forums, but had been a long time reader of Rennlist before my first Porsche. For a newbie, 6speed has been an easier and more forgiving place to ask questions and get member input. The members here seem knowledgeable but less friendly.. The mods here are MUCH more strict. The technical information here seems to have more depth knowledge.

I guess it comes down to what your asking or want to talk about.

- 6speed to talk rims
- Rennlist to talk brake compunds

Not sure who ‘owns’ Rennlist, but it seems like site traffic and ultimately the value of advertising and the site itself would increase by being a little more relaxed. They’re just cars, right? Maybe I’m not the forums demographic though 🤷‍♂️

Both could use better “Off Topic” general chit chat forums.

Mods deleting me in 5 4 3 2 1
