Default P0103, P1250, and P1508 codes

For the archives.

Bad Jeff! I turned off PSM and tried WOT in 1st gear. It held traction up to about 5500, then it broke loose and was instantly on the rev limiter. Afterwards, it ran rough and would NOT tolerate any boost.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking, I bet I blew a hose off. I had the CEL, ABS, and PSM lights on just like everybody else who has been through this. After limping home, Durametric reported P0103, P1250, and P1508. While the engine cooled, I searched the boards for those codes. Lots of interesting speculation!

But it was nothing more than a blown off intercooler hose. Runs fine now!

Jeff

Jeff, deciphering the codes is...well interesting...as the same codes can mean multiple things...with multiple solutions. Glad it was just a hose...Kevin's program is quite nice. Do you have the Si boost hoses yet?

Yes, I installed Si hoses at the same time as Kevin's turbos. I *thought* I had them all clicked in, but I missed one.

No doubt these codes can have multiple root causes - my intent is to give guys something easy to check if they get this particular cocktail.

I'm still fighting a P1249 code, and I suspect it's in the diverter valve fitting, but I'm awaiting my SAMCO hose kit to install before I tear into it. I suspect I've got a hose issue/leak as well...
