Alexander, I'd expect to use a quart every 8K miles. That seems more reasonable... I know on my dodge cummins diesel I change the oil very 6K miles and it uses about half a quart, and its capacity is almost 12 quarts... Of course it's a diesel, but still a turbo, and I expect it to use some oil... The 996TT I own just doesnt' seem to use any, and I don't see the tell tail traces left on the rear of the car... Guess I'm just lucky!
