Funny, but I kind of said the same thing to the wife, that I could stroke out tomorrow and she is like "come on Jim, your as healthy as an ox?".
Really, the most persuasive part of the discussion was seeing the portfolio up about 25% a year over the last 2-3 years, Yep... my wife has us in some good ETFs. She suggested I get the current car paid off over the next 16 months and any additional earnings on the portfolio, plus steeper depreciation on newer cars gets me into an 04-06 a bit down the road.
She likes the 04 cabs
Anyways, the girl is too smart and persuasive to disagree often with, much to my financial benefit
I will just lurk for awhile and hope I hang in there.
