Did you guys hear the latest; TA is shut down by the German government for industrial espionage. They were slapped with a 45million euro lawsuit by PAG. They found disasssemled 997GT2 turbos and exhaust components. Its in the German press today, there is a link on 6 speed, can't get it to link up here.
TA is f'd, shut down overnight.
No wonder they were so fast in thta tuner shootout, they had a GT2!

 

Now my bumper is worth that much more...or I am being sought by interpol...

 

Never liked the TA stuff but it would be too bad for Porsche if this were true and employees did steal stuff from them. When you're in a high tech business, we've learned the biggest threat is from the trusted insiders who have access versus those trying to break through your firewalls/gates. The later usually gets much more attention until something like this happens.

A follow up release from TA says they were not at fault but were approached by a car dealer to buy a 997TT engine and returned the engine when they realized it was not as represented.

Should be interesting to watch how the story unravels, although the press may never get the truth. There are already multiple stories out there.
