Default Starter Switch replacement?

Hi,
Does anyone here know hot to replace a starter switch? My car has been occasionally not starting when I turn the key. Just getting lights, fan, radio, electricity with no actual engine turn over.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cool

There is a diy in Renn Tech:

Also some info in the 996 forum:

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...gnition+switch

It is the same as in the regular 996...

I had mine replaced not too long ago:

Ignition switch failed. When I turn off the engine and took the key out of the car, it still thinks my key is still in. Power and everything still on. I had to put the key very slightly back in and turn it counter clockwise a few times. I also have a problem with putting the key into the ignition now. I have to jiggle it and try different angles to get it in. Repaired. Replaced under CPO warranty - Part No. 996-347-017-07 Steer Lock Hsng w\SW
