I get this hydraulic whine coming from the engine compartment. I notice it from time to time when I'm sitting at a stop light. The odd thing is that it goes away when I push in the clutch. I've been told that the power steering pump and the clutch system are "tied" together in some manner. Has anyone else had this issue/noise? What was broke? what did it cost to fix???
