Default After market warranty advice wanted

Hi all,

I have been lurking around this board for about a year. I just bought a 2003 manual (14.5k miles). I like it a lot.

I think a warranty would be wise. I have been offered a JM&A Group protection plan, what they call there Gold Plus 4yr 48k miles with $100 deductable for $3100.

I was just wondering has anyone has experience with JM&A and how difficult were claims to deal with. If there is a better firm to use please let me know.

Regards,
Ciaran

Try warranty direct. Do a google search as this site will not let me post links yet
Solid company from what I have read.
I went with a manufacturers warranty on a new car.

Got a warranty for CNA on all my other cars. Awesome is the only word I could say. Never ever ever one argument and never a form or a phone call....dealer takes care of everything. Only the deductable.

Now have a warranty on the TT with Fidelity. Good coverage but have yet to use them. We'll see how they do when needed!

Warranty Direct's website's "Get an Instant Quote" says they do not offer coverage on 911 Turbos. 911 Carrera seems to work fine. Maybe it's something that will go through when talking with a live person....

I went with Vehicle One at the time of my purchase from a dealer...may need to be at purchase (I think so). They are owned by GM and have some financial net (at least I thought they did....).
Have not used them yet. Clutch at my level ...was not covered. The highest level did cover the clutch.

I had a Fidelity warranty for my S2000, and they covered a diff replacement. I was very satisfied, as I only had to pay the $100 deductible for a $4k part + $1k labor.
