Default Anyone konw how acurate is the stock boost gauge?

I resently upgraded my 2004 911 turbo cab to a stage 4 evo kit with bigger intercoolers and the wast gate boost kit. Holy cow its feels so fast it's un believable. But, I have a porblem every time I shift into 4th gear at about 4500 rpm the turbos shuts down. The boost gauge goes from 1.2 bar to .7 bar . It feels like some one slamed the brakes. Then if you shift into 5th, bang its okay i can get through the gear with no problem. They say that its the ecu shutting down because it senses over boosting. Anyone have any clue about this? I spoke to evo and they say that its because of the wast gate boost kit and i should switch bach to the stock waste gate control. Anyone out there have this wast gate boost kit installed?

What program are you running? Also read codes...just in case. Sounds like you either need to get the program adjusted or back off your wastegates...kind of close to TB shutdown.

It could also be your blow off valves. If they are stock they are known to fail and cause boost drop.

My guess is you are starving the engine of fuel....time for new injectors & rails...
