There is none from Porsche. However, some aftermarket tuners (GIAC) offer an additional software map that is selectable for valet mode.

Cheers,

There is a "Valet" mode for the 2002's. Did they drop it in 2003? They don't call it that, but it has the same effect - i.e.; limits speed.

Forget the Valet...If they don't overrev it, they are bound to ding the doors. Park it yourself.

While I don't have my '03 Owner's Manual at my desk, I do have a pdf copy. A search for word valet shows no hits or references.

As Mikelly noted, its on the scroll down menu. I didn't look it up in the manual so much as I bumped into it while fiddling with the controls. Isn't that the way everybody does it?

I've been flashing cars this week with the multi-program GIAC software and the two modes "kill" and "valet" are pretty neat. The valet mode is set so that you cannot go over 30mph at all. No matter how hard someone tries. The kill mode doesn't even let you start the car- even with the key. Neat feature...

They don't lable it "Valet" or similar. As I recall it's called "Limit" or someting similar. You set the speed, and you also have to set on/off. There is no security on it, but it relys on the idea that the valet won't figure it out. Reasonable....since most of us can't. But it is in there, at least on my '02.

i just found it. it is listed under "limit". i assume this is what everybody is referring too. you can set the speed limit to 30 mph. wow what a great feature.
i agree not to valet but sometimes you have to, no way around it. still can learn around this place.
