justinmm2: Camron is nice but in my opinion much darker than Arena Red.

 

Ah, I found it - it's Carmon. Became standard issue in 2004.

 

ca993twin, your 993 looks amazing. I'm not sure which wheels I like better - the Rufs or the Kinesises, but either way, your car has amazing street presence and "cred." Moreso than the 996 with 4x4 ride height, at least

 

Thanks guys for the nice comments. The car with the Kinesis is Waldo, now owned by Ignacio. When I had Waldo, I came accross a similar 993TT in Arena Red with Ruf wheels. I looked at both for a long time, and decided that I liked both of the looks, even though totally different. Of course "Rufus" must have the Ruf wheels... there is simply no option there.

I'm sure you guys have a better eye for color, but I "think" Arena Red has more blue than Orient Red. Arena looks almost like a Burgandy color... whetever that is. BTW, there was an unusual color that Porsche used in 1970 (only that year I think), and very similar to the Arena Red. My 1970 911E was that color, and I saw a few 914s in that color as well. I can't remember the name of that color. If anybody knows... please post.
