Unfreaking believable. Where did that happen in Seattle?
If you are looking for a paint repair guy, Barrier hooked me up with someone who does awesome work. I have an arctic silver boxster, and he made a signficant parking block rub just disappear.
Sorry to see that. It has happend to me to, and I was beyond angry.
F$%%&! I'd cringe if I had that done o my baby! Get the fender repainted and since your there do a detailing job to the car, the car is heavily swirled and you will love the looks after the detailing job. Its a nice way to make up for the keying.
Any prints? I'd hope a well waxed car would pickup a partial print to help find its attacker. This kind of thing is senseless and really sucks. Good luck finding them.
That really bites, man, so sorry it happened to you.
My C5 has been badly keyed and egged (twice) while parked in front of my house. It helped some to get it fixed ASAP. I filed a police report on the keying because the monetary damage was so large, but they said it would be highly unlikely to catch the pond scum who did it.
It's part of the price we pay for driving nice cars. I've suffered thru that type of vandalism and more, but refuse to let it stop me from driving my cars. After a while, you stop worrying about a car being perfect, or the fear that some dealer will lower your resale value.
The first time it happened to me was in the late 60's. It probably doesn't average out to once every 10 years, so if it changes your use patterns, the negative impact on you is disproportionate.
Sorry for your aggravation. We feel your pain. AS

I guess I had it coming since I've had it for 2 years and no vandalism.
Oh well,
That's the last time I take it or the Ferrari out for a night or club hopping.
I had a ******cker key my 2000 Lexus LX470 the year it was new starting on hood all the way around to the hood on the other side. All the panels had to be repainted. Mother f*cker!
I would have given my left nut to catch that SOB - still would.
