Default Handling Problems on 996TT... Any suggestions ?

Hey Guys.. Need your help...

I've been noticing that my car doesn't have traction at all. Seems that when I'm going on turns (like on ramps/off-ramps) running at around 45mph, the car slides and when you slightly hit the brakes, seems like the ABS kicks in (pedal vibrates and goes up and down).

However,when I go on turns (same speed) with PSM turned-off, seems to be OK. No Sliding.. No ABS thingy..

Any ideas ?

My Setup:
Suspension - JIC Cross (4 - front / 5-rear) --> Everything else stock...
Wheels -19" (315/25/19 - 235/35/19)

Car is lowered.. Roughly about 1 skinny finger between rear fenders and tire. As far as I remember, rear camber is close to factory -1.8 deg.

That's way too low on the tire pressure. On 19" wheels, you don't want to run very low.

The pressures are off, but doesn't explain why the car is better with PSM off.
First, it's hard to believe it is sliding at street speeds with these pressures. Are you certain you aren't feeling the PSM come on and off?
It sounds like the PSM is sensing a difference in front and rear wheel speeds, which makes me wonder if your front and rear tires are the same circumference. Can anybody confirm that his tire size is correct? Does the brand matter?
You might need somebody more experienced to drive the car. If you can jack up one side, put a tape around a front and rear tire to determine they are exactly the same size. AS

with the pressures that low i nthe back it could deffinatly effect psm as the tire pressure is redcued the tire flattens out and the circumfrence is smaller

Then, adjusting pressures should resolve his problem in about 1 minute. Any bets? AS

Hey Guys.. I may have found the problem... I changed the front rotors and brake pads and it seems that the problem has gone away.. I will still have to do more tests tomorrow.. Just finished changing the fronts just now (literally.. ) Will keep you updated...

Thanks to all those who responded and gave their input...
