Default Anybody dealt with Wicked Motor Works??

Seems as if every car they sell has a 'salvaged' title...nice eye-candy with the kits and all but how are they MECHANICALLY? Never really understood what salvaged meant anyways...is that similar to reconditioned or refurbished merchandise they sell at those Outlet Stores (i.e. Sony's, Bose, aso...)

A salvage title generally means that the original car was damaged and then written off by the insurance company as totaled. Many cars are not damaged beyond repair, it's just that the repairs are expensive enough that it is more cost effective for the insurance company to sell it at auction instead of paying for repairs. Dealers or dismantlers buy the cars at auction and either part them out or repair them. So, unless you have a reliable history, you won't know the extent of the damage or if the repairs were done properly. Buying a salvage title car a gamble...some win, some lose. It may be a way for someone to get a car that they otherwise could never afford. One thing is for sure: resale is always awful.
