Default Anyone jet hot (Ceramic Coat) their exhaust or turbos?

I was wondering if any of you have ceramic coating on your turbos, Headers, or exhausts. I would go with the black High temp stuff. Do the whole system. Thoughts on this? I would be doing it for mostly for looks. I am not sure how much it would help with exhaust volicty. I would imagine to coat the turbos they need tore down? The chrome like finish looks nice but over time I have had it get discolored on turbo headers. Seems ok for NA or supercharged applicatiions.

Thanks
Ralph

I had my headers ceramic coated by Jet-Hot Coatings last year. Went with the black finish, which I believe was the 2000 deg. rated material. I was dissuaded to go with the chrome finish due to the hight temp. of the turbo system by their sales rep. The finish look fantastic! They were able to turn the headers around within a week.

I beleive the cost was about $125.00 each plus shipping. I will PM you the exact cost later when I find the receipt at home.

I engaged my old Aircraft experience and came up with: There are two reasons to cover the exhaust header. It is more than theory, coating the tubing will increase the energy (Read Heat) imparted to the turbine and also will keep the heat from aging all the surrounding equipment (hoses, etc.)

Coating of heat wraping the exhaust after the turbo does little.
