Porsche CPO experiences
I am looking a 996tt at a local dealer. Car is Porsche certified. What are your experiences with this warranty...Salesman says it covers everything...Just change the oil and do the service and they take car of everything else...
Anyone have input? Thanks so much

Does not cover everything... so not like the factory warranty. It does cover a lot (but they do not provide a list of what is cover)... for example, it covers a failure of the slave or master brake cylinder but not the accumulator....
I suggest you stop by the service area and have them show you the list of areas covered.

Forgot to add... listening to several stories here on problems with aftermarket extended warranties it is a bit of peace of mind that this one is offered by Porsche...

When I had mine, EVERYTHING was considered a wear item, even cruise control programming
I had 8-10 items on a punch list for them to fix and exactly ZERO were covered.
For me, CPO only means they inspected the car and will charge you more $$ to buy it.
