I should have in 5 days until arrival, come-on Saturday! When do I start the lithium treatments? Is it proportional to the amount of horsepower additions make to the stock value? I plan on at least the exhaust system and maybe a relief valve, and maybe a flash on the eprom.

Thanks guys, I feel all warm and fuzzy now with all the encouragement. By the way, it has a grey interior.

Doesn't sound crazy to me. My commute (when I'm not going into New York) is no more than 20 minutes and I've got two turbo's. To my way of thinking you need to buy another one!
Actually, truth be known, we're all crazy here. Rather than Rennlist.com, this could just as well be PorscheTurboAsylum.com.

Update on the car, the shipper says Tuesday. The driver called this morning and said the battery was dead and he stopped by a Porsche Dealer to have the trunk opened to jump the battery. The battery must be borderline not to servive a couple of days of inactivity. Maybe they left something on?

Porschedude996TT,

Don't screw with a battery in a Porsche. At the first hint it is not perfect, dump it. Did the trucking company need to start it to move it to let other deliveries off?

I can feel your anxiety. Drugs. Lots of drugs.

Full agreement with ca. Start with a new battery, and save yourself one day of aggravation. AS
