Has anyone had a diverter valve replaced under warranty ? Did Porsche allow use of a non bosche valve ie.Forge .Can a blown diverter valve rob power ?

Surf; The diverter valves were replaced on my car under warranty. They were replaced with the OEM Bosch units.

I do not think that Porsche would allow a warranty replacement with other than non-OEM parts.

Look in the archives, there has been quite a bit written about the subject in recent days.

From what I know, Porsche wouldn't recommend replacing the OE DV with the Forge valves. I have performed the upgrade and all I can say is it's quite fun indeed. Also, a bad DV can lead to poor performance and surging.
