Post Delivery Time for a 03TT

What is the time frame for delivery, from the point a car "goes into production", until delivery?
Thanks,
Tom

hehe, is yours at "APCORD" status or whatever the pre-production acronym is??? Mine, too!

My former 4S took 6 weeks from build to delivery.

My dealer called last week, said the car went into production on the 11/14, and delivery was expected in late dec. It was in a "pre-production" status for about 5 weeks. This is all new to me.
Thanks,
Tom

A vehicle can be placed in pre production status for a number of reasons.

A recent one would be pending a S/W upgrade to one of the systems (telematics) in the car; depending on the options configuration.
With the recent shift to all in vehicle telematics to MOST (optical network), S/W has become a very large part of preproduction planning, as new S/W and fixes are approved by Porsche and released.
