Are there options to using (buying) the Porsche tool 9204 to change the oil filter? Any idea how much this tool os? Any help would be appreciated.

I think the likely options to using the oil filter wrench are head scratching, followed by strings of words not normally seen on family-oriented boards, then more frustration. I think it cost less that $10-same one is used for the Boxster and 996, BTW. It works best with a large socket (certainly bigger than anything I own, but not for long), somewhere in the 27 mm range. I just changed mine yesterday (there is a post on my day over at Loren's board). It'll be easier next time!
