Post Cryogenically treated rotors...?

Anyone know what benefit does has in REAL terms? Does it offer better brake performance? Can this be done to a used rotor?

TIA

996cab.com, I have done some cryo tempering on some Bremo brake rotors and aluminum hats and they seem to be wearing very well, although I have nothing to compare the wear to. Relatively inexpensive for a 2-4 times more life out of your rotors, atleast that's what they claim.

Thx guys. All research I have done so far supports your comments. Good to have some real-life backings too.

Thx yet again.

@OAK
I got intouch with HRE and I decided to settle on the exact wheels & specs you opted for. HRE are able to supply the Porsche polished centre cap for $100 each (very fair price!). Does that sound like the right items?

regards

996cab.com, The price sounds a little on the high side, although I can't remember what I paid. If the price includes the added machining costs to accomodate the center caps that sounds about right. Email me and I can find more sources for the center caps if you like.
