how much oil use ok during break in period?

I have now put on 1700 miles on my 03tt. I have used 2 quarts of oil. Is this ok, or too much?

Mine required a quart at about 500, 1500, 3000, and 5500 miles. (Now at 6500 miles.) I have seen others report similar consumption that tapers with time.

Pratt - your consumption is normal (it increases in the summer too!!)
