Post Autothority Tuner / Super Tuner Challenge

Has anyone used Autothority to upgrade their 996 turbo. They now have programs for the 996 turbo.
Check out www.autothority.com. Does anyone know when this Car and Driver Super Tuner challenge happened and what issue it is in?

Thanks

This is in the last summer issue, August if I remember correctly.

Actually, the same issue where they had Corvette Zo6 against 996TT - remember that?

But then Autothority was represented by a 993TT, not a 996TT.

Anyway, I heard both good and bad things about Autothority. Who knows?

Actually according to the Autothority website they
placed second. Who all was in the shootout and does anyone have the stats yet on the cars and results?

[quote] some of the people in the shootout was Lingenfelder, Renntech, Autothority and Mallot

Sounds like the same crowd they had last year. Who took the first place this time?

From the Autothority website:

"The Lingenfelter 800hp Twin Turbo Corvette had one last shot, and what a shot it was. Their car would squeak us out by 8/10 of a second. The margin of victory was so little that if you blink, you missed it. Our hats go off to the the entire Lingenfelter crew for making the event a run to the finish."

Anyone know how much Autothority wants for their stage V package? Their website only lists info up to stage 2, and that's already $10,000. For my money I think I'll take The Racer's Groups' Unichip + Boost Controller + Additional Injector package.
