X50 gear ratios

Regarding the link posted by JEFFMD, the 6th gear ratio is listed as .75, the same as the ratio on the standard tt.
The Manual shows the standard tt reaching a top speed of 189.4. The gear chart corrlelates this with an engine speed of 6750, which transelates to 28mph/1000rpm. The manual lists the top speed of the X50 as 190.7.
Since the red line is no higher in the X50 (and looks like 6600 on my tach), that implies the X50 is geared higher or revs slightly past 6750 (which I havn't tried). Has Porsche ever told us what changes are made to the gearbox for the X50? Maybe it's just steel synchros. AS
