Default Sluggish acceleration, need help....

I have an 01 turbo with 20K miles, all stock. I am having a problem with sluggish acceleration under boost, car almost wants to die at full throttle, especially after upshifting to 3rd or 4th gear. Doesn't seem to happen in first gear. When it does accelerate it is very weak and jerky. Is this a diverter valve or turbo problem??? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

New plugs might help.

The fast and cheap thing to do would be clean the MAF. But it is most likely the plugs. I had the same issue at full throttle and new plugs fixed it. Call around to see who has the best price.
