can catalytic converters be swapped out without..
changing the entire exhaust? For example, could high-flow Cargraphic cats be used to replace stock 996TT cats on an X50? Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the Cargraphic, but S CARGO modifies the stock exhaust, and puts 100cell race cats in it. You should call Rob King at SCargo

You can change out the cats on any aftermarket system. The stock system has the cats welded to the muffler. Just removed the stock system and replaced with a B&B.
