Ex- Nortel CEO gets 03 GT-2
I was recently visiting my dealer in Woodbridge, when i notices a black/ on black GT-2 sitting in the mechanics bay. A sales rep was showing the new owner, items and options on the vehicle before he drove it away. After a little more obsevation i realize the owner is John Roth, the EX- CEO of Nortel Networks.
I wanted to ask him if i could have his GT-2 brakes, i figure thats only fair after i lost my shirt in Nortel stock!!!
Jut thought it was interesting!!!! <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

John Roth = F**cker.
Even though I didn't lose money on Nortel, I know people who did, especially old folks who put their LIFE SAVINGS into mutual funds who held a lot of Nortel stock.
As a business owner, its impossible to NOT KNOW that your company is doing poorly - and criminal to lead on that is.
The guy and Nortel management should purely, simply rot in hell - or give the money back.
It is so ridiculous for CEO's and management to receive millions in bonuses when the company is performing so poorly.
It's situations like this that make the stock market nothing more than a glorified Money Pyramid. Period.
I apologize for being so dogmatic.

My old boss use to work at Nortel and he had a bunch of stock in his 401k.
He kept telling me that the canadian goverment wouldn't let them go under. I wish I had put all my money into that down around .40 cents. That would of made a nice proffit.
Instead I though I was smart and lost a **** load on Sun Micro.
