Post Difference between 01 and 02 Bi-Xenon headlights

I heard that there is a big difference in between. Anybody know anything about this subject?

Thumbs down

Looked it up in the parts computer, no difference. Both 01/02 have the same lights. Maybe you are referring to the 996 (not Turbo): 02 cars have now bi-xenon lights as on the Turbo as an option. 01 cars have the litronic (xenon) option only.

There is no difference between the '01 Turbo Bi-Xenon, '02 Turbo and '02 Carrera. They are all the same and made by Hella. The previous Litronic headlights as available on the 993 and 9x6 was a Bosch unit and hand a single Xenon low-beam bulb.
