What model does he start with, since the car has parts from the turbo, GT2, and standard 996. Any own one on this board yet? And while I'm here.......anyone here scheduled to take delivery of a Carrera GT?

I think it partially depends on how you want it customized...you can have 4WD or 2WD, widebody or narrowbod, coupe or cab, etc So to make the build cost-effective the starting white body depends on what features you want.

Maybe someday I'll have firsthand experience to report....sigh...
