Default 996 Turbo vs 996 Turbo S

Getting a little more serious about a 996 Turbo. Could someone tell me the differences between a 996 Turbo and Turbo S? Any opinions on one vs the another?

Many thanks - and look forward to joining Turbo ranks Soon (Bonus season is approaching)!

Ross do a search this has been discussed many times. Basically the S is the end of the model year and so has all the previously available options. But the biggest good stuff is the X-50 type stuff with upgraded turbos to K-24's and larger GT2 intercoolers so more hp about 450 instead of 420. Also the PCCB ceramic brakes are thrown in. also huge cost difference.
hope this helps, good luck
