Post people i need your advise

found a car that i really want yesterday. the price was high. like new as well. the only problem is the car was from Europe. therefore, it's not a U.S. car. my friend told me that spend the money to buy a car that wasn't U.S. car is bad idea. mainly because of the value. is that true? is there other down sides to buy a euro spec car here in the U.S.?

You've got a good friend, don't mess with a grey market car. There are too many good US spec cars out there, at reasonable prices. Why buy trouble?

I agree...buy a US car. Especially the turbo or any model right now. The market is very soft right now and turbo's can be found for very good prices.

You're going to end up spending more money because of warranty issues and DOT certification for the euro car.

Just not worth the hassle in my opinion. It would have to be a really sweet deal for me to go euro.

Most of the 993 Turbo S that I have seen for sale are grey market. My buddy drives one of the few Canadian Turbo-S.

Why did you post this in the 996 turbo forum? Are you the 2C4S on flat-6?
